Donations for Denim
Luminous Neon employees work to support their communities by wearing jeans
Luminous Neon employees have been making an impact on their communities monthly all by wearing jeans. For a monthly donation of $10 employees can wear jeans to the office on Fridays, these donations go to help fund a charitable gift from Luminous to a deserving local organization.
The selected organizations are all based in the communities of one of our seven office locations, this is just one of the many ways Luminous is involved in the communities.
January The Alley / Project Teen Safe, Dodge City
February Salina Rescue Mission, Salina
March Cancer Council of Reno County, Hutchinson
April Inclusion Connection, Olathe
May The Willow Domestic Violence Center, Lawrence
June Boys & Girls Club of Topeka, Topeka
July Manna House, Dodge City
“We try to pick different types of recipients ranging from food banks to domestic abuse shelters to youth programs,” said Stacy Irvin, who coordinates the Jeans for a Cause program at Luminous. “It’s been fun to help organizations all across the state. Our employees participate because they know their donations are going to a worthy cause each month.”
