Hip to be Square

Olathe church thinks outside the box, partners with Luminous to create large cube monuments, campus directionals

Luminous worked with the team at Life Mission Church to explore sign elements including push-thru copy, translucent digital printing, halo lit and face lit displays. The goal was to go large with the church’s brand and bring the designs to life with dimension, illumination and scale.

“This large-scale project was a lot of fun,” said Quintin Totta, account manager at Luminous. “The staff at Life Mission Church brought bold thinking and a lot of creativity to our collaboration. On behalf of the professionals at Luminous, it was a pleasure to execute our role in planning, permitting, manufacturing, sourcing and and installing these beautiful and unique signs.”

Additionally, this large church campus benefited from multi-sided directional signs, all of which are illuminated, to help steer traffic to the appropriate locations.

The collaborative effort between Luminous and Life Mission Church created place-making results that solidify the church’s place as a Johnson County landmark as it grows and boldly shares its mission with all who see the large cubes when exiting the property: GO.
